Mia Martina Hanák

Mayoral Appointee - Public Art Committee at CITY OF MISSOULA

Mia Martina Hanák is a dynamic leader and creative professional with extensive experience in the arts, culture, and strategic communications. Serving as Executive Director at ActNow XR since June 2021, Hanák also holds roles as UNTFHS Exhibition Curator & Designer with the United Nations, Mayoral Appointee on the Public Art Committee for the City of Missoula, and Founder & Executive Director of both Human Ecology and Millennium ART. Additionally, Hanák has contributed to various initiatives, including serving on the Advisory Committee for COHESION Art Collective, participating as an Honoraria Artist for the Burning Man Project, and acting as Senior Strategic Communications Advisor for GreenFaith. With a strong educational background in Art History and Cultural Anthropology from UC Santa Barbara and Museum Studies & Exhibition Design from Tufts University, Hanák has consistently worked to connect art, culture, and community advocacy through impactful projects.
