Joseph Snowden

Joseph Snowden has extensive experience in leadership roles within public service and marine operations. From September 2017 to November 2024, Joseph served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Executive Director of Administrative Services for the City of Mobile, overseeing critical departments such as IT, Human Resources, and Procurement, while also directing operations at Alabama's sole cruise ship terminal as Senior Director of Maritime and Transportation. Prior to this, Joseph had a distinguished career with the U.S. Coast Guard from August 1990 to October 2017, holding positions including Captain and Sector Commander at Sector Mobile, and working as a Detailee for the Office of Program Analysis and Evaluation within the Department of Homeland Security. Joseph holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Troy University and a Master's in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College.
