Shannon Long has over 25 years of experience in public safety communications, currently serving as the Public Safety Communications Manager for the City of Murphy, Texas since October 2006. Prior to this role, Shannon Long held positions as a Communications Officer and Senior Communications Officer (Shift Supervisor) within the same department. Shannon Long began career in public safety communications with the City of Garland, where service as a Communications Officer lasted from January 1998 to October 2006.
