Kate Croteau

Kate Croteau has extensive work experience in various human resources roles. Kate is currently the Human Resources Director for the City of Muskego since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Human Resources Director for Milwaukee College Prep School from January 2022 to June 2023. Kate also served as the Human Resources Director for the City of Racine from May 2020 to January 2022. Before that, they worked as the HR Coordinator/City Clerk for the City of Robbinsdale from August 2018 to May 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Human Resources Director for the Village of Hanover Park from April 2016 to July 2018. Kate started their career as a Human Resources Generalist for the Village of Oak Brook from September 2013 to April 2016. Kate also worked as an Assistant to the Village Administrator for the Village of New Lenox from September 2012 to September 2013. Additionally, they served as a Management Analyst for the Village of Woodridge Police Department from May 2009 to November 2012 and as an Administrative Intern for the Village of Oak Brook in 2008.

Kate Croteau has a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration/Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, which they obtained between 2003 and 2007. Kate continued their education at Northern Illinois University from 2007 to 2009, where they received a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree specializing in Urban Management.
