Alexis Diaz de Leon

Alexis Diaz de Leon has a diverse background in customer service, education, and recreation, currently serving as Recreation Lead for the City of National City since April 2021. Alexis previously worked as a Science Educator and Visitor Services Associate at Fleet Science Center, with roles in guest services at Hilton/Holiday at the Bay, admissions at Birch Aquarium at Scripps, and student services at UC San Diego Extension. Additional experience includes mentoring underprivileged high school students as a College Advisor with UCSD TRIO, presenting at real estate auctions with Williams & Williams Real Estate Auction, and working with UltraStar Cinemas as part of the theater crew. Alexis began academic studies at UC San Diego in 2014, culminating in a degree in March 2022.
