Kristen Grennan

Kristen Grennan, MPA, serves as the Senior Director of Communications for the Mayor's Public Engagement Unit (PEU) in New York City, a position held since March 2017, where notable roles included Director of Strategic Communications and Senior Advisor for various initiatives. Kristen has managed citywide outreach campaigns and developed comprehensive communication strategies, particularly during significant events like the 2020 Census and the Ranked Choice Voting initiative. Experience extends to roles as a Judicial Intern at the U.S. District Court in Southern New York and positions at Columbia University, The New York Times, and community-focused organizations. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree in progress at New York Law School and a Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University.
