Sherif Soliman

Sherif Soliman is the current Director of Policy & Planning for the Office of the Mayor at City of New York. Prior to this, Soliman served as the Chief of Staff for the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Operations from January 2014 to January 2021. Soliman has also worked as the Assistant Legislative Representative for the Office of State Legislative Affairs from March 2002 to August 2006, Commissioner for the New York City Department of Finance from February 2021 to January 2022, Director of Communications for the New York City Employees’ Retirement System from September 2006 to December 2013, and Chief of Staff for Office of State Assembly Member Eric Vitaliano from November 1997 to December 2001.

Sherif Soliman completed their Bachelor of Science at SUNY Oneonta in the field of Political Science.
