Joseph Hatch

Joseph Hatch currently serves as the City Administrator for the City of Newport, MN, a position held since November 2022. Previously, Joseph worked at the City of Minneapolis in various roles, including Director of HR Business Operations and Principal Labor Relationship Representative, from May 2018 to November 2022. Joseph also has experience as the County Coordinator for Todd County and as an HR Generalist at Tree Trust. Joseph's earlier career includes roles as a Management Analyst/HR Specialist and Code Enforcement Supervisor at the City of New Brighton from September 2007 to August 2016. Joseph holds a Master of Public Administration (MPNA) from Metro State University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from the University of Minnesota.
