James Worth

James Worth is an experienced emergency services professional with a comprehensive background in fire and medical response. Currently serving as a HazMat/WMD Technician with the South Carolina-HazMat 2 Regional Response Team since June 2023, James has held various roles in emergency services, including Fire Captain, Fire Lieutenant, Engineer/Paramedic, and Firefighter/Paramedic with the City of North Myrtle Beach since January 2016. Previous experience includes working as a Paramedic for Medshore Ambulance Service and Moreau Emergency Squad Inc., and serving as a Firefighter/Paramedic for Horry County Government. Additionally, James has held positions such as Emergency Medical Technician and Emergency Room Technician in various organizations. James earned a certificate in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) from Hudson Valley Community College.
