Jack Suggs

Jack Suggs is an experienced municipal professional currently serving as Deputy City Manager for the City of Oak Ridge since March 2021. Previously, Jack Suggs held the position of Electric Director in the same city from January 1989 to March 2021, overseeing electric utility operations and managing a multi-utility business office. Prior to that, Jack Suggs was the Assistant Director of Public Works, where responsibilities included managing wastewater operations and contributing to various public works functions. Earlier experience includes work in the Civil Engineering Department at the City of Wichita Falls from August 1983 to January 1989, focusing on solutions for drainage and transportation while supervising staff. Jack Suggs earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Texas Tech University.
