R. Scott Lyman

R. Scott Lyman has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in both public service and the private sector. Since May 2021, Lyman has served as a Beach Lifeguard for the City of Panama City Beach Government, while also working as a Life Insurance Agent for Globe Life Family Heritage Division since October 2020. Previous roles include Director of Program Management at Entera Branding (June 2019 - July 2020) and Associate Director of Development for the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets (March 2014 - June 2019). Lyman's military career featured leadership positions, including Defense Coordinating Officer for FEMA at the United States Army Pacific Command and Battalion Commander of the 3-348th Infantry Regiment. Lyman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Virginia Tech.
