Ani Garibyan

Ani Garibyan is a Community Planner with significant experience in urban planning and project management. Currently employed by the City of Pasadena since September 2023, Ani oversees the creation of the new Environmental Justice Element and the Lamanda Park Specific Plan, among other projects. Prior experience includes serving as a Planner for the County of San Luis Obispo, where Ani managed housing policies and community plans, and as a Planning Associate for the City of Glendale, focusing on current planning and special projects in transportation and environmental initiatives. Ani's background also includes a role as Compliance Manager at ATI Medical Waste Management, where compliance programs were developed, and a tenure as an Urban Planner in Lima, Peru. Ani holds a Master of Science in Environment and Sustainable Development from The Bartlett Development Planning Unit, UCL, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from UCLA.
