Joseph Dulin has a diverse work experience in various government and administrative roles. Joseph is currently the Community Development Director at the City of Peoria, Illinois, where they lead a department focused on improving the community through code enforcement, building safety, planning and zoning, neighborhood development, land management, and grants administration. Prior to this role, Joseph served as the Assistant Community Development Director in the same department, overseeing building inspections, planning and zoning, code enforcement, neighborhoods, and grants. Joseph also had temporary positions as the Acting Inspections Director and Acting Code Enforcement Manager. Before joining the City of Peoria, Joseph worked as a Management Analyst for the Inspections Department, where they conducted projects, analyzed administrative systems, handled fiscal budgeting and analysis, grant administration, and information technology planning. Joseph began their career as an Associate Financial Management Analyst at the City and County of Denver, where they were involved in financial analysis and worked with agencies to monitor expenditures and identify cost savings. Joseph also interned at The White House, where they gained experience in office operations and administration.
Joseph Dulin completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Studies at the University of Illinois Springfield from 2003 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Masters Degree in Public Administration at the same university from 2006 to 2007.
