Dr. Jonathan B. Flores

Dr. Jonathan B. Flores currently serves as the City Manager for the City of Pharr, TX, a role assumed in July 2023, after previously holding the positions of Interim City Manager and Assistant City Manager. Dr. Flores maintains an academic presence as an Adjunct Instructor at both Trevecca Nazarene University and South Texas College since September and August 2020, respectively. Prior experience includes serving as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Alton and Chief of Police for the Alton Police Department. Dr. Flores's law enforcement background also encompasses roles at the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office and the San Juan Police Department. Educationally, Dr. Flores holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University, a Master of Public Administration from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix.
