Genevieve LaMarr LeMee is an experienced professional in the field of environmental justice and sustainability, currently serving as Deputy Director and Sr. Advisor for Environmental Justice at the City of Philadelphia since February 2022. Prior to this role, Genevieve interned at Elevated Chicago eTOD and contributed to research as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Michigan's Water & Climate Policy Lab and Environmental Justice Lab. Genevieve's earlier experience includes working as a STARS & Resources Intern for AASHE, a Youth Leadership Coordinator and Nutrition Education Associate for The Food Trust, and various roles in translation, teaching, and analysis. Genevieve holds two master's degrees from the University of Michigan in Urban and Regional Planning and Environmental Justice, as well as a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
