Melissa Wright

Melissa Wright has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Melissa started their career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania in 2014. Melissa then worked as a Research Assistant at PolicyLab at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from 2012 to 2015. In 2014, they also served as an Associate at the Office of Strategic Analytics at The School District of Philadelphia before transitioning to the role of Data Analyst for the ELECT Program within the same organization. From 2018 to 2020, Melissa worked as a Project Manager in the Superintendent's Office at The School District of Philadelphia. In 2017, they briefly served as a Research Fellow at ImpactEd. Melissa then joined Teach For America in 2020 as Director of Performance Measurement and Evaluation before joining Econsult Solutions in 2021 as Associate Director. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Data and Policy at the City of Philadelphia since March 2023.

Melissa Wright has a Master of Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania. Melissa also holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania. Melissa'sBachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics was obtained from Fordham University.
