Jon H. Elder

Jon H. Elder is an experienced events and marketing professional with a robust background in managing special events for municipalities and organizations. Currently serving as the Special Events Manager for the City of Pigeon Forge since March 2022, Jon oversees a variety of city-sponsored events, including the Patriot Festival and Winterfest Kickoff. Previous roles include consultancy at Kellum Creek Business Solutions, Marketing Manager at Beyond the Lens! Family Fun, and Area Marketing Executive at Dolly Parton's Stampede. Jon's extensive experience also encompasses roles at the Gatlinburg Convention & Visitors Bureau and the City of Gatlinburg, where event coordination and strategic marketing initiatives were key responsibilities. Jon holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from Lincoln Memorial University and a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a focus on Advertising from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
