Kyle A. Hinkelman

Kyle A. Hinkelman, AICP, currently serves as the Community Services Director for the City of Piqua, a role initiated in January 2024, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of projects that foster growth in business, non-profit, and residential sectors. Prior to this, Kyle worked as the Village Administrator for the Village of Covington from December 2020 to January 2024, managing staff and focusing on economic development and compliance through updated policies. From 2008 to 2020, Kyle was the Deputy Director of Community Development for Miami Township, contributing to significant development projects totaling over $300 million and overseeing contract management and economic development initiatives. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Urban Planning and Development from Ball State University and a Master of City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University.
