Natasha Bissell has a diverse work experience related to recreation and community services. Natasha started their career in the City of Campbell as a Recreation Coordinator in October 2000. After five years in this role, they were promoted to Recreation Supervisor in May 2005. In March 2012, they further advanced their career and became the Recreation Services Manager, a position they held until February 2020.

From February 2020 to July 2021, Natasha served as the Acting Director of Recreation & Community Services in the City of Campbell. Then, in July 2021, they were officially appointed as the Recreation & Community Services Director, the current position they hold in the organization.

Natasha Bissell attended UC Santa Barbara from 1995 to 1998 where they earned a BA in Business Economics. Natasha further pursued their education and completed their MBA in Masters of Business Administration at Notre Dame de Namur University from 2003 to 2005.

The City of Campbell, centrally located in the Santa Clara Valley, 50 miles south of San Francisco, and bordered by San Jose, Los Gatos, and Saratoga, was founded in 1846 by Benjamin Campbell. It was incorporated as a General Law City in 1952 and has a Council/Manager form of government. City departments, in addition to the City Manager’s Office, include Police, Public Works, Community Development, Finance, and Recreation and Community Services. Campbell is a suburban community with a population of 41,161 and a balance of land uses – commercial, industrial, and quality housing – within its six square miles.
