Anthony Shrader

Operations-safety Chief at City of Pittsburgh

Anthony Shrader has extensive experience in emergency medical services and leadership roles, currently serving as Operations-Safety Chief for the City of Pittsburgh since November 1993. In addition to this role, Anthony has held multiple positions, including Patient Care Coordinator, District Chief, Training Crew Chief, and Paramedic within the same organization. Since August 2020, Anthony has also served in the US Army as Acting FHP Operation SGM and First Sergeant. In a commitment to community service, Anthony operates a veteran-owned business, Archangel Shepherds Canine Training and Services, which offers dog obedience training and pet first-aid classes. Previously, Anthony was involved with the City of Pittsburgh Bureau of Emergency Medical Services as Crew Chief and Training Officer, focusing on paramedic training and certification. Anthony's educational background includes a Paramedic Certificate from Saint Joseph's Hospital Paramedic Institute, earned between 1991 and 1992.
