Lashon Ross

LaShon Ross is an experienced public sector leader currently serving as Deputy City Manager for the City of Plano since February 2022. With a strong background in human resources, Ross has previously held roles such as Director of Human Resources/Risk Management, overseeing critical functions related to employee experience and safety. Prior to returning to the City of Plano, Ross worked as a Professional Development Facilitator, providing training and consultancy services. Ross's extensive career began in Texarkana, Texas, where responsibilities included managing human resources and employee engagement as HR Director. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts & Sciences from Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
