Sherri Neil is currently working as the Manager of Governmental Affairs at the City of Portsmouth. Sherri has been with the City since November 2004, previously serving as a Senior Legislative & Management Analyst. Prior to their time at the City of Portsmouth, Sherri worked at the VA General Assembly for Senator W. Henry Maxwell as the Chief of Staff / Legislative Liaison from December 1989 to December 2003. Sherri holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Old Dominion University, obtained between 1989 and 1995.
