Mayada Aljehani is a seasoned Cancer Epidemiologist at the Lawrence J. Ellison Institute for Transformative Medicine since December 2017 and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since July 2019, participating in the Big Data-Scientist Training Enhancement Program (BD-STEP). Prior experience includes serving as a Research Associate at the California Cancer Registry from January 2015 to May 2018, a Teaching Assistant at Loma Linda University from January 2012 to January 2013, and an Instructor at the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia from January 2006 to January 2007. Mayada Aljehani holds a Doctorate of Public Health in Epidemiology and a Master of Science in Public Health with a focus on Biostatistics, both from Loma Linda University, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics from King AbdulAziz University.
