Joanna Longcore currently serves as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Poughkeepsie, a position held since January 2022. Previously, Joanna worked as an Associate at McCabe & Mack LLP from August 2019 to August 2021 and as a solo practitioner and freelance writer at MESJ & Associates; Hollis Gonerka Bart LLP between October 2018 and August 2019. Prior experience includes a law clerk role to a judge within the New York State Unified Court System from August 2010 to December 2015 and an Associate position at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from September 2008 to August 2010. Joanna also provided in-house counsel for United Airlines from November 2009 to April 2010. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Cornell Law School (2005-2008) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology from SUNY Geneseo (2001-2005).
