Parker Gavigan

Parker Gavigan has had a diverse work experience in the field of journalism. Parker began their career as a Reporter for KNWA, an NBC News affiliate, in 2005. Parker then moved on to ABC 6 News, where they worked as an Investigative Reporter from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they joined WJAR-TV NBC 10 News as an Investigative Reporter and remained with the company for over a decade, until 2021. Currently, Parker is serving as the Director of Communications for the Providence City Council at the City of Providence.

Parker Gavigan obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida, where they attended from 1997 to 2001. In 2000, they also briefly studied Political Science at the University of Westminster in London, UK. Later, in 2003, Parker pursued a Master's degree in Journalism at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, which they completed in 2004.
