Cameron Harding has extensive experience in community services and recreation management. Cameron currently serves as the Director of Community Services for the City of Redondo Beach, a role they have held since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Recreation & Community Services for the City of Cypress from November 2018 to May 2021. From September 2012 to November 2018, they served as the Director of Parks & Recreation for the City of Lomita. Before that, Cameron was the Community Services Manager for the Saddleback Valley Unified School District from August 2010 to September 2012, where they oversaw various recreation programs and managed a large budget. Cameron started their career as a Recreation Supervisor for the City of Manhattan Beach, a position they held from October 2002 to August 2010.
Cameron Harding completed a Master's degree in Recreation Administration from California State University, Long Beach, from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Recreation Administration from Western Washington University, from 1997 to 2002.
