Chris Hayes has over 30 years of experience in traffic signal systems and operations. Currently serving as the Maintenance and Operations Superintendent, Senior for the City of Richmond, Virginia since May 2018, Chris has previously held the position of Traffic Signal Specialist II within the same city from July 1991 to May 2017, where expertise in Econolite controllers and the Centracs program database was developed. Prior to this, Chris worked as a Highway Equipment Electrician with the Virginia Department of Transportation from January 1989 to July 1991, focusing on the construction and repair of traffic signals. Chris is a graduate of J Sargeant Reynolds Community College and completed high school at Highland Springs High School.
