Camyar Chaichian is a multifaceted artistic professional and program manager specializing in community cultural development at the City of Richmond since April 2010. With a rich portfolio as a director, writer, actor, and producer under the company name Camyar Chai since 1986, Camyar has received multiple accolades, including Jessie Richardson Awards and the Ray Michal Award for Most Promising New Director. Camyar's extensive experience includes roles such as executive director at Leave Out Violence (LOVE) BC, founding artistic producer at Neworld Theatre, and adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia. Additionally, Camyar owns Three Cups of Chai Consulting, focusing on equity, diversity, and inclusion facilitation. Education credentials include an MFA and BFA from the University of British Columbia, as well as certification as a Lifecycles Capacity Consultant.
