Shawn Yerks

Shawn Yerks has a work experience in the field of human resources. Shawn started their career as a Human Resources Analyst at the City of Southlake in 2014 and served in that role until 2017. In 2017, they joined the City of Rockwall as an Organizational Development and Training Administrator. Later, Shawn Yerks was promoted to the position of Director of Human Resources at the City of Rockwall in June 2020.

Shawn Yerks holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Human Resource Management and Business Management from the IU Kelley School of Business. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Certified Labor Relations Professional (CLRP) from the National PELRA and Mediation Training with Ethics from the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable.
