Kevin S. Kilgore, MPA has a diverse work experience in the field of law enforcement. Kevin S. most recently served as the Deputy Chief of Police at the City of Rohnert Park since August 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief of Police at the City of Sebastopol from March 2021 to August 2022.

Before their roles in city police departments, Kilgore worked in the University of California Police Department for several years. Kevin S. held various positions such as Lieutenant from July 2017 to February 2021, Sergeant from January 2011 to July 2017, and Police Officer from April 2006 to January 2011.

Furthermore, Kilgore gained early experience in law enforcement at the City of Montgomery, Ohio, where they worked as a Police Officer from May 2000 to March 2006. The following year, in 1996, they enrolled at Mount St. Joseph University, where they pursued studies in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities.

Later, in 2011, Kilgore attended Union Institute & University and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Criminal Justice Management in 2012.

In 2015, Kilgore furthered their education by attending National University, where they earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a specialization in Organizational Leadership in 2016.

Additionally, Kilgore has a series of additional certifications that showcase their commitment to professional development. These include the Senior Management Institute for Police (Session 78) from the Police Executive Research Forum in August 2021, the School of Police Staff and Command (Class 464) from Northwestern University in December 2019, and the Executive Program in Management (Class 128) from UCLA Anderson Executive Education in August 2018.
