Farishta Ahrary

Farishta Ahrary, CPA, CFE, PMP, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in auditing and finance. Since June 2013, Ahrary has held multiple positions at the City of Sacramento, culminating in the role of City Auditor, where responsibilities include comprehensive reviews and analyses of budgetary items, as well as overseeing lower-level staff's research and analysis. Prior to this, Ahrary worked as a Staff Accountant at Goodell Porter Sanchez & Bright, contributing to financial statement audits for school districts and preparing various financial reports. Beginning in April 2007, Ahrary gained valuable experience as a Personal Banker and Senior Teller at Bank of America, assisting customers with various banking services. Ahrary holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis.
