Nestor Veloz-Passalacqua

Nestor Veloz-Passalacqua, M.P.P., M.L.S., currently serves as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager for the City of San Luis Obispo since February 2023, having previously held the same position at the County of San Luis Obispo from November 2016 to January 2023. Additional roles at the County include Whole Person Care Program Manager and Administrative Services Officer II/Ethnic Services Manager/Cultural Competence Coordinator. Nestor's academic background includes a Master of Legal Studies in Compliance & Legal Risk Management from the University of Arizona and a Master's degree in Public Policy from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where Nestor also earned a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Ethnic Studies. Education commenced at Cuesta College, earning an Associate degree in General & Transfer Studies.
