Jonathan Schellin

Jonathan Schellin serves as the Deputy Director of Public Works for the City of San Rafael as of September 2023, following a role as Procurement Services & Program Specialist at the City of Benicia. With extensive experience in public service and private industry, Jonathan's prior positions include Associate Brand Manager at Tyson Foods, where leadership of teams for strategic innovation projects occurred, and various analytical roles that involved data-driven assessments for organizations including Civic Consulting Alliance and Ford Motor Company. A veteran of the US Army, Jonathan has also held educational roles, including teacher and fitness center director. Jonathan holds an MBA and a Masters of Public Policy from the University of Michigan, as well as a dual Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education Social Studies and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
