Director, Information Technologies at City of Schertz

Myles C. has a diverse range of work experience in the Information Technologies field. Myles started their career as the MIS at North American Construction Co., where they successfully implemented network and email systems, as well as introduced remote technologies to improve communication between field offices. After that, they founded and served as the CEO of iServiceOnline, Inc., an IT consulting company that specialized in managing IT projects and assets for various organizations. Finally, they became the Director of Information Technologies at the City of Schertz, where they led the community and contributed to its growth.

Myles C. has a diverse education history that spans several years. In 1974, they attended Loyola University Chicago, where they studied PreMed, Psychology, and Theology. After completing their time at Loyola, they transferred to Louisiana State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from 1976 to 1980.

In 2011, Myles pursued further education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing the Certified Govt CIO program from 2011 to 2012. During this time, they also obtained the CGCIO certification from the same institution in June 2012.

Continuing their educational journey, Myles enrolled at Texas State University in 2014, where they obtained a Certified Public Manager (CPM) degree in Public Administration, which they completed in 2015.

To enhance their professional skills, Myles also participated in the Dale Carnegie Course in 2014, focusing on effective communications and human relations.

Additionally, Myles obtained several certifications to further their expertise in various fields. In 2012, they obtained the CGCIO certification from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2016, they received the ICMA Advantage for Professional Managers certification from the International City/County Management Association (ICMA). Myles also acquired FEMA certifications (ICS 100, 300, 400, 700, 800) in March 2017. Most recently, in April 2020, they completed the ICMA Cybersecurity Leadership certification from ICMA.
