Chelsea Petersen is an experienced municipal administrator currently serving as the Assistant City Administrator for the City of Shakopee, MN since August 2021. Prior roles include Administrative Services Director for the City of Oakdale, Minnesota, and Assistant City Manager for the City of Chanhassen. Chelsea began a career in public service as a Community Development Coordinator and Administrative Coordinator for the City of Falcon Heights. Earlier experience includes positions at U.S. Bank as an End of Term Specialist and Vault Teller, as well as Public Works Maintenance for the City of Richfield. Chelsea holds a Master of Public Administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Concordia College.
