Mike Scott

Mike Scott currently serves as Fire Chief for the City of Shakopee, MN, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Mike Scott was Fire Chief for the City of Eagan from September 1983 to June 2021 and held the position of Commander at the Dakota County Sheriff's Office from April 1990 to March 2006. Earlier in Mike Scott's career, a role as a Police Officer was undertaken in the City of Fergus Falls from March 1987 to April 1990. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Metro State University and completion of the FBI Academy.
