Doug Gerber

Doug Gerber is an experienced city manager currently serving as the City Manager for the City of Shawnee, KS, since April 2023. Previously, Doug worked as a Client Manager for JEO Consulting Group, Inc. from February 2021 to April 2023 and as a County Project Director for the State of Kansas Office of Recovery from August 2020 to February 2021. Prior to these roles, Doug held the position of Deputy City Manager for the City of Topeka from April 2014 to August 2020, City Manager for the City of Goodland from May 2009 to April 2014, and City Administrator for the City of Beloit from June 1999 to May 2009. Doug began a career in public administration as a Management Intern in Kent County from June 1998 to June 1999. Doug holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and French, also from Kansas State University.
