Pouneh Sammak

Pouneh Sammak is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in various roles within the HR field. Currently serving as the Human Resources Director for the City of Solana Beach since 2017, Sammak previously operated as an HR Consultant from September 2013 to February 2017, working with multiple clients including various cities and the San Diego County Water Authority. Prior positions include HR Analyst and Associate Relations Specialist, along with roles in account management and HR assistance. Sammak holds a Professional Certificate in Human Resources Management from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management and Services from California State University San Marcos.
