Ayaan Shire

Ayaan Shire is currently a Human Resources Intern at the City of St. Louis Park, a position held since May 2024. Prior experience includes supporting guests at the University of Minnesota Bookstore from January 2023 to May 2024, and serving as a Kick Off Leader at the Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence, where Ayaan co-led a cohort of incoming BIPOC Freshman students in August 2023. Ayaan's experience also includes an internship at Huntington National Bank and participation in the Genesys Works program, which provides professional development opportunities for low-income high school students. Ayaan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Development at the University of Minnesota, expected to graduate in December 2025, following previous education at Minneapolis College and Ubah Medical Academy Charter School.
