Sabine Verelst has over 28 years of experience in public service, currently serving as a Project Manager in the Public Works Department for the City of Stockton since April 1995. Responsibilities include managing industrial and commercial recycling programs, code enforcement, education and outreach, budget management, grant administration, and events. Verelst is an active member of several professional organizations, including SWANA, CRRA, NCRA, and the Earth Day Committee. Additionally, experience includes serving as a Training Officer focused on citywide computer software training and working as an Adjunct Instructor at ITT Technical Institute, teaching PC Technology Courses. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Stanislaus, a Bachelor's degree in Communication/Public Relations from the University of the Pacific, and an Associate of Arts in Journalism from San Joaquin Delta College.
