Stephanie Gower

Stephanie Gower is a Program Manager for Environment - Resilience at the City of Toronto, where responsibilities include leading research and analysis to support decision-making within the Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division. With extensive experience in public health, Gower serves as Adjunct Faculty at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto and has held various roles at Toronto Public Health, focusing on health research and policy development related to climate change and environmental health. Gower has also taught at the University of Waterloo and conducted research as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Ottawa. Gower holds a PhD in Environmental Health Risk Assessment and a Master's in Environmental Health Exposure Assessment from the University of Waterloo, along with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Queen's University.
