Whitney Hooker

Whitney Hooker serves as a Human Resources Generalist for the City of Tybee Island since December 2022, following a tenure as a Benefits Advisor at Aflac from October 2021 to August 2022. Prior experience includes working as the YBASE District Coordinator and Recreational Gymnastics Coordinator at YMCA of Coastal Georgia, where responsibilities encompassed managing gymnastics programs and coaching children. From February 2013 to August 2019, Whitney held multiple roles at Hancock Askew & Co., including Human Resources Coordinator and Assistant to the Firm Administrator, contributing to various HR functions such as benefit enrollment, payroll processing, and staff event planning. Whitney holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Armstrong State University.
