Cindy Givens, MPA, CPM has a diverse work experience. From 1997 to 2015, they worked at Kaiser Permanente as a Certified Medical Assistant, where they performed various clinical tasks, handled customer inquiries, and improved response time. In 2015, they joined the City of Union City Government as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the Mayor, where they prepared correspondence and materials for meetings. From 2016 to 2022, they held multiple roles within the City of Union City Government, including Operations Coordinator and Director of Operations, where they organized special events, managed projects, and developed written communication materials. Additionally, from 2016 to 2019, they served as the South Fulton Jail Authority Secretary. In 2020, they became the Development Authority Secretary/Treasurer at the Union City Development Authority.

Cindy completed this program between the years 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they also attended the University of Phoenix where they pursued a degree in Health Care Management, specializing in Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
