Jina Gaines Templeton

Jina Gaines Templeton is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in media and public relations. Currently serving as Media & Communications Coordinator III for Virginia Beach City Government since May 2011, Jina has successfully designed and implemented strategic communications plans and produced videos to enhance the organization's narrative. Prior roles include Senior Writer & Public Relations Coordinator at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where Jina developed marketing communications campaigns and coordinated media relations, and Account Executive at Rhodes Communications, managing client campaigns and strategic messaging. Jina has also contributed as a Public Speaking Instructor and a Public Relations Assistant at Virginia Tech, and served as a Marketing & Communications Consultant for Lutheran Family Services of Virginia. Jina holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Virginia Tech.
