Dante Pittman

Dante Pittman serves as the Human Relations Director for the City of Wilson. The Human Relations Office is charged with enhancing the quality of life for Wilson residents through community engagement, programs and services. The department coordinates the Human Relations Commission, the Committee for Persons with Disabilities and the Wilson Youth Council. Additionally, the Human Relations Office serves as a resource to the various neighborhood associations throughout the community.

Pittman is a Wilson native and graduate of Fike High School. He earned a B.A. in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018. Pittman currently serves on the board of directors for various community organizations, including the Wilson County Department of Social Services and the Wilson County Partnership for Children. Pittman also serves in the North Carolina Army National Guard as a First Lieutenant.
