Amy Simmons

Amy Simmons has over two decades of experience in communications and marketing within local government, currently serving as the Training & Compliance Officer for the City of Winchester, Virginia, since July 2002. Prior roles include Communications Director and Manager, where responsibilities encompassed external communication management, media relations, strategic planning, and public information. Amy has expertise in managing social media, electronic newsletters, and the City’s cable channel, as well as overseeing marketing projects for various departments. Amy holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis on Public Administration from Shenandoah University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Georgia Southern University.
