Kathy Buis

Kathy Buis is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning and management. Currently serving as Financial Planning Administrator for the City of Windsor since June 2020, Kathy previously held various financial roles, including Manager of Financial Services at Morton Food Service from 2012 to May 2020, Senior Accountant at Greco Aluminum Railings Ltd. from 2011 to 2012, and Payroll Administrator at the Canadian Mental Health Association from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, experience as Senior Financial Accountant at Wave Manufacturing/Wavexercise & Nutrition from 2008 to 2010 and Financial Accountant/Staff Accountant at Caesars Entertainment Corporation (Casino Windsor) from 2005 to 2008 further demonstrates Kathy's expertise. Educational qualifications include a CPA, CMA certification from CPA Canada obtained between 2006 and 2007, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Honours Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance from the University of Windsor, completed in 2005.
