Jim Moran is a seasoned law enforcement professional with over thirty-three years of service at the City of Worthington-Division of Police, where Moran served as Detective Sergeant and supervised the Detective Bureau after more than ten years in the Patrol Bureau, culminating in retirement on December 12, 2021. In addition, Moran holds the position of Financial Secretary at the Fraternal Order of Police, Capital City Lodge 9, having been re-elected for a sixth two-year term, representing the largest FOP lodge in Ohio. Prior experience includes roles as a Multi-line Claims Adjuster at Cincinnati Financial Corporation and a Property Loss Analyst at J.C. Penney Insurance Co. Moran earned a Bachelor of Arts in Photography and Cinema from The Ohio State University and graduated from the School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University in 2010.
