Patrick McLean

Patrick McLean serves as a City Council Member for the City of Ypsilanti since January 2024 and as Chief of Staff at the Franklin County Coroners Office since March 2023. Additionally, Patrick holds the position of Chairperson of the Board for the Lake Superior Watershed Conservancy, a binational organization dedicated to protecting the watershed of the Great Lakes. Previous experience includes consulting for Weidner, Inc., and roles such as Director at Experiential Learning Forward and Chief Financial Officer at the ADAMH Board of Franklin County, where financial oversight was a key responsibility. Patrick also was the Director of the Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service at Albion College and the Finance Director for the City of Toledo. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in International Relations from Freie Universität Berlin and extensive studies in Political Science from Miami University and The Ohio State University, among others.
