Thomas Ogorzalek

Thomas Ogorzalek is a co-founder and head of data science at 2040 Strategy Group since May 2023, specializing in providing insights to various organizations through social science methodologies. Currently serving as a visiting scholar at the City University of New York's Center for Urban Research and a principal at Co-Lab Research, Ogorzalek is dedicated to social justice and community collaboration. As co-director of the Chicago Democracy Project at Northwestern University, Ogorzalek focuses on understanding Chicago politics through data analysis. Previous academic roles include assistant professor of political science and urban studies at Northwestern, a lead research scientist at C Street Advisory Group, and various visiting scholar positions at prestigious institutions including Princeton University and Sciences Po. Ogorzalek holds a PhD in Political Science from Columbia University, an MA from The New School, and a BA from the University of Notre Dame.
